What is Freemasonry

Freemasonry opens the door through which men of widely different backgrounds, education, vocations and religions may come together in a profound fraternal bond. A connection built on shared beliefs and experiences. A kinship of Brothers who support and challenge another to excel, sharing knowledge, wisdom and hope in good times and darkness.

Giving of oneself to help others is a natural by-product of our own personal growth and development. A desire to assist our fellows in distress is a quality common to Freemasons, who give over 3 million dollars a day to Charity. But the treasures we share most generously is that of our time and talents.

At its core, Freemasonry is about the nature of truth. The moral values, taught through allegory and represented by symbols, assists us in our pursuit of wisdom. As Freemasons, we strive for personal growth, sharing our knowledge and skills with others. The curious mind is encouraged, and we strive to live with virtue and compassion.
