Membership in Freemasonry is not contingent on race, religion, income, education or politics. Men age 18 and older, of good moral standing with a belief in a Supreme Being are welcome to petition a Lodge for membership.
Those seeking admission within our Fraternity must do so on their “own free will and accord”; as such, they must ask a member to sponsor their application. The member asked depends on the prospective candidates association with Freemasonry; those with family members who are Freemasons would ask them. Many of our Brothers are introduced to Masonry by a friend or co-worker; and other encounter Freemasonry through the annual open house in October, or reaching out directly to the Lodge to “Ask a Mason“.
